From a completed manuscript to a book that may be published, we assist authors. Consider useful assistance, such as basic launch planning, production preparation, distribution setup, and editorial direction. You select the components you require; we maintain transparency throughout the process to give you complete control.
Three indicators are that you have made revisions beyond the "first clean draft," that beta readers or an editor have pointed out only minor corrections, and that your front and back content (title page, acknowledgments, author bio) is roughly in order. Before you engage in production, we can perform a readiness evaluation and recommend what still needs to be tightened.
Fiction, nonfiction, memoir, genre blends (mystery, romance, fantasy, sci-fi), and specialized works that don't fit on shelves are all types of books that we review. We're willing to talk if the audience and objectives of your narrative are clear. Distinct voices are welcome.
We provide two main options: applying for a conventional publishing deal or going the guided self-publishing route, in which you choose services on an as-needed basis. To help you choose what's best for your book, we'll go over deadlines, expenses, and rights issues.
Unless you sign a document transferring particular rights (print, digital, translation, etc.), you typically keep copyright. Before anything is finalized, we go over the terms of the contract with you. We encourage all authors to read and inquire about the wording. Seek legal counsel from a lawyer.
